Anti-MapHack For Single Player

Id like to know how to create these, or download them for a few of my maps, i think theyd be good for single player as well as multi-player. So any advice on how to createm or where to find them would be useful for me.

This is how I'm doing my anti-maphack for my series of RPGs.

Take a look at the attached .scm file, you need to have an area like I've set up and a trigger like the one Ive set up. This was done just now. Let me know if this is what you want done.

Basically what will happen is the map starts out and you are unable to see the Civs, if someone uses a maphack, or 'blacksheepwall' the tank will be able to see the civs and kill one, the trigger plays and kicks his ass out of the map. Nice huh?

no problem man. its a simple trigger. why more people dont use it in their maps is beyond me.

lol yea got yea, u wouldnt by any chance know any tricks for "Power Overwhelming" would you? Im gonna think on that on, seems a bit more complicated. "Show me the money" is easy, but that one...

Yea, im workin on a way to make that one, not sure how tho.

The prob with a trig to stop 'showmethemoney' is if you are makin a long RPG that peeps can get a heap of cash from camping. there is a way for peeps to bypass a trig like that tho, they can just use 'whatsmineismine' and 'breathedeep' lol

ill be on AIM all day if ya want to get a convo goin.

i think i have a way to stop power over. w i read some where that u make 2 units and one kills the other and if u input the cheat and that one unit dont die end game

I don't like using the anti cheat like in your example Anarchy. Mainly because I think there is a larger problem with hackers and it doesn't work againsed map hack. To prevent them from cheating via single player, I make a anti single player trigger, and it doesn't take up any space on the map so its cool.

yea so no 1 play game prevents all sc cheats, but.. what if u want to allow a person to play a map on custom in single player mode not on the web.

Create 1 'PO Checker' at 'PO checker' for 'Player 8'
Wait 5000 milliseconds
Remove all 'PO Checker' at 'Anywhere' for 'Player 8'


Thats where im gettin stuck, can anyone else fill in what im missing!?

i have finally gotten the name of the map, this is a good map, but what i like most about it, it has a single player mode, so when you play it as a custom map, it sets up like all the anti-cheat triggers without any visible units or anything you can see, which means the anti-cheat trigger is purely made from skill. Its called Aesgeroth RPG, as soon as i can find out how to post a download thingy as im kinda new to this forum i<ll post it so you guys can take a look. The map is loaded with Anti-Poweroverhwleiming, Show me the money, and black sheep wall, which are the only ones i really want for my maps.

Ever since the first antihack sniper map came out by Twip-, Fleet-, Twip and myself have tried to keep the trigger as a secret because we didn't want 50000 people making sniper maps that were rigged. I've had over 500 people with no exageration come up 2 me and ask me for the trigger, and never gave it out. So i guess most people still have the impression that it's a secret or something.

Although i have never tried this, i think the simple sollution would be: (This might get long)

Preserve trigger

If player 8 Custom Score is at least 20

Disable Invincibility for all units owned by Team 1 at location Anywhere
Set Custom Score to 0

Now, i've used custom score as a timer, so if a map has a timer they don't stuff each other up. I'm not sure if that would work but....


Now that i think about it, i don't think that would b right...
