Another Israeli spy

Seems the Israelis didn't learn their lesson after Pollard.

I understand why they wanted the knowledge and info that this spy has retrived for them, but why could the Israelis just ask? I mean, we're tight as hell, and both countries are on the same page about terrorism and the threat posed by certain Mid East nations. I personally doupt that we would have refused them much of this info if they had just asked for it.

you bring up a good point, but dont you think that other middle easter nations would be a little peeved about us giving them info?

or maybe

they want to test their espionage(sp?) so they know what to fix. like you said, why wouldnt they just ask? perhaps it was a test...
