i dont think he has any control [or feeling for that matter] in the arm, considering a few things

1. thers no nerve endings connecting the muscle to the brain, its not a natural extension of his body
2. theres no connection with the bone in the arm to the bone in his body [so i presume]
3. its laying limp in the picture
