American Dad from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, is the animated story of Stan Smith (MacFarlane), who works for the CIA and is constantly on the alert for terrorist activity.

Stan will go to extremes to protect his beloved America from harm – as evidenced by the terror-alert color code on his fridge, and his frequent knee-jerk reaction of shooting holes in the toaster whenever the toast pops up.

If you like the Family guy you will like this. It's jsut a pilot however, though u can see elements of the family guy in it, including similar voices, similar animation, and the habit of throwing in talking animals.

The dad is the same voice as Brian.

I'm a huge Family Guy fan though, so I'm really looking forward to this.

EDIT- Jeez, as I got farther into it that fish is a pervert. Iono if half the crap he says will be allowed on TV though.

All characters in the family guy are pretty funny. The show is funny as hell. I dont knwow why but I think it is better than the simpsons.

this show looks promising, it has all the elements of a good show.

You need a certain type of humor to really lauh at some of the things. Like when the alien broke the chair i laughed my ass off, don't know why. People falling over shit and having things fall on them amuses me.
