Your very own pet Skunk!

I was searching up anti-skunk precautions (since one of them is living in my backyard), and apparently there is was a link to this guide.

And in America, it's apparently legal in some states, as long as you have a permit from a legal provider to care for it. In Canada, you simply buy one from America and problem solved. The only con is the complex care it takes (especially food), and the smell if the skunk takes a piss not in a litterbox (needs vinegar to get out). But the scent gland (the part that makes a skunk smell) is surgically removed when teh skunk is born, so there is no trouble.

Discuss.

Figures its legal in PA. ****ing hick piece of shit state. Hopefully none of my crazy neighbors decide they need a pet skunk to go with their trailor and the five broken cars sitting on their lawns, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Nothing like vermin in your house to fill the time in between possum beating and hunting der.

They look kind of cute I guess, but it would just be way too weird to have a pet skunk. It would suck to get sprayed.

The page said they remove the spray glands for pets.

Oh. I missed that. This is just as dumb as having a deer as a pet or something. People love having strange pets. ~_~

If ferrets didn't smell like piss all the time, I'd get one of them.

Llamas are very weird animals. Didn't Michael Jackson own a llama farm or something? I think they smell a lot, and I think they would be way harder to take care of as compared to a little skunk. Personally, I would stay away from llamas. The only thing they have is their cool name.

Ferrets would be a better choice than a skunk for me, but you're right when you say that they piss all the time. They can be pretty crazy and cause a huge mess. I doubt you would want your house to smell like piss all the time. It's been a long time, but I have this vague memory of my mother's friend owning some ferrets, and I always heard that they are not worth the effort and seriously crap all over the house.

I know someone who lives in Philli. He and a bunch of other guys are from my old WoW guild. He loves his cheesesteaks and the Eagles. :p It can't be that bad of a city.

That just depends on how much you groom it.

I wouldn't want to give my ferret a daily bath. It's like having a baby.

I swear MJ had a llama ranch. I never knew he had a monkey. =\
