Alright what the hell..

At level 71, with lightning, chain lightning, and cb maxed and nova going to be maxed by 77..why do I do only 2.5k lightning and the skills planner says (with +9 sorc skills) when I'm fully maxed I do 2992 dmg lightning?

Now I thought light sorcs did a shit load of damage..am I missing something here?

Shako, Occy, tal armor, tal ammy, tal belt, travs, splendor, chancies, rare/crafted caster rings with mf..

Besides..Khull wears full tals and does good dmg I believe..the hell..

Be patient jason, see what happens when you max out all the synergies.

Chain Lightning should be doing a lot of damage, more then that. If you want a good Lightning Sorc weapon, use Crescent Moon. -35% Resistances will help MUCH more then the %+ damage from a Temper. Trust me. My friend has a light sorc, lvl 91. Facet griffons, SS, Crescent, and other godly stuff. GCs too. Does over 25k CL. :redeye

wtf you didn't max light mastery?? My lite sorc has max lite mastery/cb/lightning/chain lightning at lvl 81 and is doing about 18k with no skillers. With 8 skillers i do somthing around 25k

2. It's because I didn't realize that LM isn't the same as CM. I kept having this mind set that all LM did was lower lit res. *Idiot*
3. I'm currently level 71. I have lightning, chain lightning, and charged bolt maxed. Nova is level 9. If I start on LM now, will I be doing good damage by 80?

Note: I have +9 skills. So Maxed skills are 29, and Nova is 17.

Edit: By 85 with my gear I'll do 12338 Lightning and 5984 Chain Lightning.

Sounds like a plan. ^^;

(refrains from hitting you over the head with a blunt object) you chould still mf but it would take a while for you to kill anything. I suggest you remake. I think you can figure out the mf urself.

I don't possibly see how you do so little dmg, by your gear Lightning should be doing 8,9, or even 10k dmg...

Chain lightning on the other hand is naturally low, but it hits up to 10 or so targets which make up for the lack of damage. I hope your not confusing the two.
