ok fine it says in readme that i gotta copy d2music.mpq and d2video.mpq to diablo2 folder.. but wasnt it already in there when i installed it..

what does it mean when it says copy d2music.mpq and d2video.mpq into diablo2 folder? isnt it already installed when i installed the whole diablo2 game?

you need the files from your diablo cd's. if you dont have those cd's, youre screwed

umm, this is a forum, not a chat room. warning #1 for double posting.
here are your steps:
- read the readme that comes with the d2loader
- the readme will say which files you need to copy over from the cd (hint: it's d2char.mpq d2music.mpq, d2xmusic.mpq d2xvideo.mpq [dont overwrite them if theyre already there)
- do that (copying stuff)
--a) you did it correctly -> the loader will work
--b) you didnt do it correctly -> you dont know how to use a computer -> read the windows manual. copy files using drag+drop in the explorer window or single folder windows. ctrl+c/ctrl+v works with files too.
