Adv / Disadvantages of Block Sorc

Can some one Please give me the pros and cons. I wan't a sorc for mf'ing at night with pindle and cow's/rushes other times.

Skills are: Nova, TS, LS, FO all max.

The Equip I have atm for MF Pindle are:

PT Shako
PT Tals Armor + Belt + Ammy
Alli Baba
War Travs
Chance Gaurds
Rhyme Shield
Occy Ring (Will get another one soon).

This is good for MF. But what equip should i change to for Cows/Rushes. I don't care about MF at all then. I was thinking. Please comment on what to change as i haven't been playng sorcs long:

Shako (socket?)
Shaftstop (socket?)
Occy Rings x 2
Stormshield (socket?)
Wartravs (suggestions)
Thundergods Belt
Magefists or Frostburns
Ammy (no idea. maybe tals still)
Wizspike or Occulus

Please comment on equip for Cows/Rushes and whether to go block sorc and why. And stat points.

honestly... i really good sorc should be ablet o wear the same equipment in every situation and kill as efficiently. here's my main sorc.

this setup alone works just fine in any and all situations i put her in... norm/nm/hell... only place that gives some difficulty is hell chaos... but doesn't that give many people probz? heh!

shoudlve maxed nova influentz. it takes down the cowz like a lawn mower does grass. (w/ the mas Light Mastery and bout +9-10 to all skills)

hehe yeah my other sorc does that... she's a orb/nova/ts sorc...

but my main one... kills cows just as fast as a nova sorc... that firewall works great when using frost nova or something to lock then in the flames heh.

i'm remakin my MF sorc tho... maxxing: orb, nova/mastery, meteor.

i wont put more than just 1 pt into TS... since it's really only good for PvP.
