Actually playing the game

have you actually PLAYED the game whole through without rushes? i have done it three times, one with my single player barba back in classic, another with a ladder druid back in ladder season 1 and right now im actually playing through with a new summon nec because i feel like it.

anyway... have you actually PLAYED the game?

ya see? people dont give a **** about the game they just give a **** about their items and dueling, they dont give a **** about doing quests they just care about getting rich...

Ive played through one full time with my java. But I hear ya. Its all about who has better shit now which was one thing but now theres more an more ebayers. The games losing its appeal very quickly once again for me. I always quit and come back I dont think that will be the case here soon tho.

I've played through so many times I can't remember. I'll be safe and say at least 10 times on Battle.net, and at LEAST 40 times on Mods. A2 isn't bad, A3 is the WORST.

Playing through is viewed by most(myself included) as a waste of time. Why wait until you're high enough level by killing every monster in every area in order when you can be in act 5 in 10 minutes or less? It's just a faster alternative, and without it, Diablo II wouldn't be near as popular of a game.

ohya, ive played the games through normal nm and hell tons of times. probly about 10 times. back then in 1.09 i wasn't into "online play" as much and i liked mfing and finding new items to creat new characters. i had at least on of every character at lvl 82 (which was high considering 1 player cows).

Look at it this way. If you can do all the quests without dying then your character is pretty good. I rushed a lvl 78 sorceress with my lvl 68 frenzy barb....in hell. We did all the quests because my barb was new in hell and I was too lazy to get other character and get other wp's. its fun when you can run like the wind.

I've only played through on single player, since I couldn't get a rush from any of the npc's.

Malah's SUCH a bitch when it comes to that. She's got enigma, but won't rush or even tele in baal games.

Actually, come to think of it, the only time I've ever played through was ladder season 2, and I only ACTUALLY played through normal, someone teled to where we needed to be and we all worked together to do it in 8 player games for nm and hell.

i walked through norm like to many times for lvls. through nm and hell were all rushes. the first few days of lod i walked all of them. me and my friend are starting tommorow on walking through all diff. without any outside items or help.

You'll get sick of it and rush yourself. A friend and I tried that, but we got sick of it mid way through a3 and rushed our chars.
