Accident dupe

A couple days ago i was playing on d2 uswest and joined a game with my friend he was giving me something for my barb and i was waiting for him on my zon....... he wasnt responding and the game was lagging really bad and then finally he got c/i and then i got c/i moments later. he then pmed me to go back to the game or to a different game i cant remember... so he joined the game then i did the same and he started searching again and i decided to get my barb since thta was the char that needed the item.... so i went back into the game with my barb the he gave me the item and i decided to xfer some of my items to my empty muel... and when i got there i had the exact same helm on my barb now on my muel! and i just decided to use my lvl 6 pally that i never went on as my muel. the wierd thing is tho that i the helm was duped to a different char.. also my friend had two chars there at some moments because hes got two comps. does anyone know why this happened?

Dude...did you ever think of the possibility of you not duping and forgeting you had the item already?
Check them durability and everything..are they 100% the SAME?

someone claims to have "duped" on accident once a week and what they say never makes any sense and IF they really did dupe it's probably because of something they're NOT mentioning, probably because they don't know what it is that just happened to get them lucky.
