About the pit...

kind of a newbie question...
but.... I have to ask...
1. Where is the pit?
2. What type of sorc is the best for mfing in this place? (immunes, and such.)

The pit is a place in durance of hate level 3 where you can drag mephisto to and tele over to the pit and you can kill mephisto without him hitting you. Any sorc can do good in the pit because no monsters usually attack you from there.

I belive its "The pit" in act1.. Tamoe Highlands (take wp at black marsh)... and i think there is all types of imunes ... fire Imune fallens, cold imune Zombies and some light imune skellys :S so there is all kind of imunes....

Oh yeah, I forgot about that pit. The best type of sorc I hear is lightning but you must have a good merc in order to kill the lightning immunes. I hear hammerdins are the best for the pit though.
