The thread about that wierd torch that got all off topic and was closed... "An Evil Force" appears in D2 when fighting Diablo. It is the Bone Prison-like spell he's got that traps you. Just thought I'd clear that up. The scimitars are "flying scimitars". Sorry, it just really bugged me, had to get it out.

It's also that ghost that slaps you by Meph. As someone said in that other thread, "An Evil Force" is simply the default name of un-named objects/monsters.

That was me. If you added a class and didn't name them, they too would be called "An Evil Force" for all practicality.

It's noob modding/patching.
