I used to love films like dawn of the dead, night of the living dead, not so much resi evil but its alright. All the old zombie films. Not too sure about a TV series though, i hardly watch TV anymore at best of times..

uh heheh heh BRAIINS!! heh. zombies. Gotta give props to the person with the mind to think up what would happen if i make a film where theres this disease that turns people into things that eat peoples brains and resemble alcoholics staggering back from the pub mumbling "braaiiinnsss" with heads like PEZ holders. Awesome, i love all the old cheesy horror movies..

Also how all the zombie movies stick to the same set of rules. Always a biological disaster that starts it like in night of the living dead, that army bioweapon container falls in the river, its almost like you know the whole movie before you seen it. Im like lying on the couch mumbling "shoot him in the head!" "Smash his head with the baseball bat/chainsaw or he'l get back up! f**king idiot!" you gotta love it.

Yes. Except that you're wrong: in night of the living dead, and any other movie based on this franchise, the cause of the reanimations is never, ever stated. Its only hinted at.

I am Ledgend was that catalist for the idea, George A. Romero, just subed vampires for zombies.

There was never ever a reason given for how it started except for Night of the Living dead which was also the start to the whole zombies saying Brains thing.

Night of the Living Dead was a stand alone movie, and was not directed by George A. Romero.

George A. Romero idea was to have all his movies named after the cycles of a 24 hour period. Dawn, Day, Twilight, Night, and Rise. It would show the evolution of the zombie to become the only thing left on earth. That was shot to $h!t after Night and Return came out.

I hope this show is produced and is actually put into production to be a full time tv series. It has potential at the very least.

Right, so youre saying the key storyline scene at the begining where the army loose control of the bioweapon container and it falls down into a river, the bit where the camera follows through to the graveyard and then the crypt where the kids are (assumed to be the camera following the invisible infectious gas as it seeps to the graveyard), also the other key bits in the film where it actually goes back and focuses on the container sitting damaged in the river have no storyline worth whatsoever, theyre just thrown in there for the hell of it?

I think they make it pretty clear to you thats what the filmmakers wanted the disaster to be caused by. They might not necesarily say "oh hey guys look at that army bio tank over there, thats definately the reason there are zombies everywhere" but i doubt they could make it any more painfully obvious if they tried. Unless someone really did say "oh hey guys look at that army bio tank over there, thats definately the reason there are zombies everywhere"...

Its an old film back when it was easy to get the plot across to the viewers as quickly and in as few scenes as possible... You didnt need an answer to EVERYTHING, you just sort of knew.....

Ah by the way Jim, that one is the second one, theres rumors of a third one in the works "28 months later" supposed to be based in Russia this time. Might just be a rumor but eh..

The thing is it was only ever done with that one ...of the dead films. No other ... of the dead movies ever said how, where, or even why it started. They gave possiblities, like a comet passing by, but thats all.

In any case, I spent the night looking for new info on this series and could find nothing of any real importance. So, this is in fact new. Better not suck.
