A merc question

i just wanna ask a queston.
if my merc has no mf,0%, and it kills a monster,like pindle or meph, will the drops be equivalent to my mf(600%) or to the merc?(0%)

Merc Kill = Merc MF + your Mf.

So, get as much mf as possible on you and your merc, then weaken a guy and have your merc kill it = better drops?
