A media player

That can capture screens in good to great quality...WinDVD went gay and changed on me so I can't use it anymore. Anyone have some good suggestions?

I use VLC Media player for playing any movie at all =D

Ooo, sweet. I did discover that it can take snapshots before you guys replied, just didn't know the hotkey to do it. zzz. Now I'm going to make more avatars. Cheers!

Click the snapshot button really fast.
Or get a mpeg to gif converter.
Or stop the video, snapshot, play, stop, snapshot.
