A good HC character?

I'm thinking about starting HC back up but I am not too sure of what character too make, does anyone know a good type of character too start with HC any suggestions? I was told a blizz sorc because they far well in most acts but...given my past expirence they get Pked a whole lot and that's something i'm really trying to avoid.

Make a conc barb, max BO asap and pump up vita. My lvl 66 barb withstood a cowardly TPPK attempt by a lvl 85 necro with enigma and hoto and a bunch of other godly gear today, it was funny.
