A few things...

Ok, right now I have been botting Hell Pindle with my lvl 81 Blizz sorc. I have found maybe 4 things in the past week, I know I'm not going to find much from pindle, but still.

I can't even do NM Meph runs because even the stygian dolls own me, very quickly. Perhaps this is because I'm using a Viper Magi instead of Skullders...you think?

Well, I was just curious what bot I should be using to find some decent gear fast without getting my ass handed to me on a silver platter every time. And what difficulty you think I should be doing. My defense and resistance is obviously not good enough to make me happy...but hopefully I can take care of that if I can get me a Skullders. I'm not needing the most elite gear, but I need some stuff that I can trade with and possibly equip my other chars with. My blizz does about 2500-3000 damage if you need to know.

And yeah, will the Skullders help me not get my ass kicked?

hmmmmm,pindle till about 88,(about 3 nights of botting),also trade for 2x sojs it will help alot , u will be able to tele there with almost full mana when i get to meph

Ring wise I am using 2x Manald Heal. It helps a little.

Actually, Viper would help you survive more then skullders would. Resistances + Faster cast beat MF and uhh, whatever else Skullders offers. Skullders has 0 + resist all, and no FCR. More defence, but that's about all it can offer you survival-wise.



Get two sojs, that will surely help a lot. Whats your stats and what not too? Life and Mana? Gear (all of it.)? Also, your blizz damage is a tad low, did you Max All Synergies, and whats your + skills total?

Now my Blizz hits about 3900. All my synergies are maxed at 27 and my Blizz is at 26...I know, I messed that much up

I was talking about Skullders because of the defense. Not to mention doesn't it have + skills?

My energy is ALMOST untouched...I think it is a little over 100 due to my shako and other gear. Strength has 105 (gear pumped that up), Dex...who knows, and Vitality is somewhere over 200.

I see. I think a little more in energy could have did you well, maybe over 160 or something. Are you lacking in the MP department? If so, 2 sojs will help a lot. also 2+ skills. 20% mana in crease on both.



Skullders has more defence, but by like 400. And it has 1+ skills, but that defence alone won't save you any better. You will probably take more from elemental attacks, and cast teleport much slower (Viper has 30% FCR) And the defence on skullders will probably reduce the monsters chance to hit you by maybe 1-4 % or so. Not too sure but it's not by much. Your on East, correct?

I put a pdiamond in my Lidless, I don't get hurt by elemental very badly...never did for that matter, it's just really strong physical that pwns me.

Hmm. More + skills could help. I wish you were West, I would be able to give you a Spider Sash and maybe War Travs so you don't die so much. But really, since your a Blizz Sorc, get Snowclash belt if possible. It's a must for Blizzard Sorcs, IMO.



Physical damage. Hmm. Can you tell me your life/mana currently? I could maybe tell you how to survive better if I knew how much of those you have. And did you put a point in energy shield?

You should of asked in strats about your sorc JD, you'd get more replies. Anyways..few things to address:

1. How the hell does everyone always get hit while teleing to lvl 3 durance? I NEVER get hit, and if I do it is RARE..guess I'm just good at teleing LOL..

2. Vipermagi is 10 x better than skullders unless you need MF..that's the only thing I'd wear skullders over vipermagi for..ever..

3. 2 x sojs..are you guys nuts? It's hard enough to get ONE soj let alone 2..

4. Save up as much as you can and get a tals armor..it'll be more than worth it.

5. Arachnids Mesh > Snowclash for any sorc. Hands down. Darkmatter you're retarded. No offense.

6. JD do you use a cold armor? If so which? Also, what is your life/mana?

7. Bot wise it doesn't matter which you use for drops..and the only bot that has a slight safety factor is jhj and that's for orb sorcs..unless you count life watch etc from bots like d2jsp, but that's something most all bots have.

8. DON'T BOT ASSHOLE! Lol.

Not for damage. I find the addes damage is better. The Stats on Mesh are only if he really needs them. With the sosj he will have good enough mana. 10% mana increase is thereofre not needed as much. Faster Cast rate isn't needed as much either. When Snow clash gives + to all Blizz Synergies, I tend to think it's better, cheaper, and easier to get. And I don't quite think he can just cough up a ?Aracnhid Mesh, Jason.

I haven't joined a trade game yet I'm too busy MFing, botting, and baal running.

And no, I don't have any points in energy sheild or shiver armor because I was trying to follow the guide from your strat team :rolleyes Sorry, I was just getting back into D2 and the strats are a bit different now than .09 (when I made the sorc)

Sorcs are too hard to lvl to 24...I don't feel like starting another one

Ha, yup. They are really a pissoff to level in the early stages. But you might want to put forth the effort and remake, so you can put a little more in energy, and maybe get the Ice Shields to kick in. Those increase defence a lot (at mid - high level) and usually slow enemies so it's pretty good.


That's your problem. You should be depending on your mana and energy shield to stay alive. That's why you have so low energy. I seen some sorks pull off the tank blizzard type of build, but it takes too good of gear IMO. If you wanted to take less damage, you'd need a Storm Shield and Maybe CoH for armor. But yrea, assuming you don't trade I wont get into those.



Yes Jason, snowclash is for poor people. Unless he can afford a damn Spider, I'd go with that.

Hmm. I'd say just remake your sorc and ask the guys who know how to make them for help, or read the stickies. I don't like that Vit/damage taking Blizz Sorc build at all. Requires a lot of good items IMO.

^yea i thought maybe dex was a better choice but dex just takes too much of your stats point..... example u need 194 dex for a stormshield on a sorc at lvl 80 to get max block and 315 on a lidless :\
