I asked him what he ran and he said it was a D2loader Mod he coded himself
well thats most probably a lie.. since anyone with the intelligence to code such hack wouldn't openly admit it in a public diablo game.
zPickit is good but its still in a world based on rules.
If someone is standing over an item, and you're 100pixels away.
that item will be gone before you can move that inch to get it.
and secondly would be bandwidth, someone with a faster connection will always be the superior in collecting the item(s).
zPickit checks if items can be collected as soon as the item spawns, and tries to collect it every 1/4th of a second (about the speed of a clicker)..
anything faster then that is going to lag your gaming experience or give you realm downs.
the issue your having isn't about speed its player location
Code:
O O O <- players
X <- baal
O [b][][/b] O
lets say all those people had zPickit running
the person in
[]'s location will get the items every single time
no matter what, why you ponder? because that is the item spawn location for all monsters and chests. Every other player will have to move to obtain them, while
[] will not.
