A fable question...!

I know quite a few of you play this game, so here goes.

Is it better to focus on a certain spell to spend my points on? I mean, wouldn't having a level 5 spell be stronger than having 5 level 1 spells?

Almost like "mastering" certain spells?

Help me, cause im sorta wondering here..

I'd stick to buying good weapons and gear and relying on them for killing. Spells should be used as backup. I'd probably pick 2 or 3 spells and distribute my points amongst them. Gives you a good backdrop. Two lvl 3 is greater than 1 lvl 6

Of course I'd listen to those who actually play the game. I'm not talking from experience with the game, just from watching my friends play.

I say... find a couple spells that work together well and focus on those. I use Assassin Rush, Enflame, and Battle Charge/Multiple Arrows, and each spell is up to level 3 or so.

I find the attack spells to not be worth it, but all the buffing spells are definately worth it, just get them early and level them whenever you have a chance (you should use them often and have a fair amount of magic exp)

um,i have a question too,do u need to pay a monthly fee to play fable?

Hmm.. well i was leaning more towards melee combat only for this char, so I was thinking that one in time slow, then 3 into like two others might work nicely.

I guess it's all personal preference? :O


Fable is a single player game, with the exception of xbox live. Live costs money every month, but you can play any xbox game on it.

Yeah, basically all preference. And Fable is a single-player game with no strings attached. If you have Xbox Live, you can show off your character and that's about it.

Yeah.. it's a cool game. I've decided to put most of my points into beserk.. since my new dude is like pure melee, i think it'll work out =D

i thought the xbox live part was only to talk to friends for fable didnt think there was gameplay for it online or anything

lol u fools fable aint on line its live aware which means u can download stuff for it but not go online with it and if ur a melee char max bezker and NRG shield ur combo multiplyer never goes down

been playing that game all day.

the arena was fun, but i felt bad for getting rid of whisper instead of walking out. but the extra 10 grand was nice too

u want a good sword i can help ya out there just tell. u remember where the gnome cave was and theres that demon door there well talk to it when your combat multiplyer is at 14 or greater and u will get a kick ass godly wepon

ok buddy no problem. fable is a game where you are trained from child hood to become a hero. now the choices u make will eiter make you good or evil. and people will react to u if evil they run in fear if good the praise the earth you walk on. u lvl up and put stats into skills that improve ur str which is melee, skill that is arrow, and will magic and of couse u gotta mix it up in order to be good or else ur char blows,. another point in the game is to get married and enjoy many good nights with ur multipule wives lol. its kinda whatever u wanna do game. some things that are key for beng good or evil there are temples that worship the good and evil gods. the evil chapel lets u sacrafice people and u can become younger if u do it enough. while the good one well i dont know i think it makes u younger 2 lol but u can get amazing wepons from both of them. and thats about it much more but i dont wanna ruin it for ne one now,
