Would anyone mind if I was to make a Cleric Pally build to add to the build list?
Let me know what is needed, since I have offically never made a build before.

Basically, you need some sections that can best help a reader build your build. A list of the skills he will need to max, where he should put all his stat/skill points into, and maybe a little FAQ on the items he will use from beginning to end to actually make the build effective. There's more you could add, but those are the basics from my understanding.

A Cleric, Monk, Medic ect. is a Palladin character that basis everything on keeping others alive to fight for him. Basically he is the ultimate party friendly player character. Mainly for massive Mana, Life, regeneration, as well as other auras that will aid everyone in a party. It has FOH as its main (and probably only) attack. Unfortunitlly this character is not for fighting per say, but more as a player healer/helper, which means they are leachers to a degree.

What I would like to do is make a first draft of this build here and see what everyone thinks should be added, or left out if that is ok with everyone. Like I said before, I have never really written out a build before, but I know what is needed and what to do to make a good one. It just needs some fine tuning from all you great people here.

PVM Cleric Paladin Ladder Softcore/Hardcore

Basis:
This character, is known to some, but, the Cleric, Monk, Medic, whatever you want to call it has made some drastic changes since the introduction of the new runewords. No longer is Prayer Aura needed to to max out, nor meditation. With the help of a good mercenary, your party can get the aid of both skills at the same time, along with Conviction as your main aura, and Holy Freeze as your mercs. The good news on this build is that, everyone in your party will love you since you keep them alive. Bad news is this is in no way a fighter. He will be heavily dependent on his merc, and party. Some may see this character as the ultimate leech, but, when they notice that they will have an endless supply of life, mana regenerating they will thank you. Not including the negative elemental effects that come along as well.
Within this build is a short list of gear, that I have found of good use. The end gear is what I have found to be best, but, it is truely needed. You could easily get by with the segested beginning gear of Khalim's Will, Sigon Complete Steel Set http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/sets/sets3.shtml#sigons till the end of the game. But if your rich go for the best right?

Your end gear will be highlighted in yellow.

Wow. Thats pretty impressive, the look of it, and the context. Since most people wouldn't make this build otherwise, it's always nice to see you making such an effort to create the guide regardless of that notion. I'm impressed. What you could do is seperate the armors you could be using from the one you will ultimately use in level cateogires. Like, ''during levels 40-60, you would use ViperMagi, but once you reached level 80, you would switch to these'', then present the end items in gold. That's just my opinion anyways. Great job.

i think the yellow wording is the main gear when your at your highest lvl and can use all that gear. i dont think it would be there just to make it look flashy.

I'm pretty sure he told everyone that, but alright.

@Xsworn_enemyX: Keep up the good work. I might add this one to the Sticky since it's unique and pretty good for an off-hand build.

Ok thank you, should I redo it for lvl gear, or anything extra? I could make a copy, but add lvl by lvl gear. I mean in all honesty, you could easily do norm - hell in Sigon set. The whole idea od a cleric is not to get hit and to help everyone out. The highlighted yellow is the end gear, but it is deffinitlly not needed by any means.

Also, does anyone see any problems with this build that could be done better? (Skill, and gear wise)

I would suggest instead of maxing Holy Bolt and Shock Aura, to maybe invest those points in some of the other beneficial auras, like Salvation peraps? Not likle everyone has max resistances, but it is still useful I think. Maybe some of the other useful defensive auras, like maybe Vigor/Cleansing/Redemption? Cleansing could help during Baal Runs when the act 2 monsters use that god awful poison on you, or something. Just a thought. Besides that, I very much like your guide sir.

Why dont you just make FoH pally S_E, that seems to be much more useful than this one, because we all know every chars above lvl 85 carries around full rejuvation pot filled in their belt slots, so why bother?

Only reason I maxed Holy Bolt, and Holy Shock, is because they are synergies to FOH. This allows massive healing if struck. As a added effect, the Holy Bolt alone, can give close to 50 points to life at lvl 20. That could mean the difference between life and death. Vigor, Cleansing, Redemption ect. (basically all the skills at lvl 1, which is also every defensive skill.) will have a good amount already with the + skills. I mean even with gear such as, Gardian Angel, Highlords, Spirit shield/Sword, and Shako you have more than enough into ever skill that has just 1 point into it. Cleansing will not really be needed, with the amount of life regen, and life added from Holy Bolt/FOH. But once again, to reassure you, even at lvl 3 cleansing is more than enough. Hopefully this will answer most, if not all your questions. Lastly, please do not call me "Sir" I work for a living. If you wish, call me Dre.

If I am correct their is a FOH build guide already. I wanted to make a guide for something that was not presently up to look at. Also I don't think I could make a good guide for one of them.

Thank you for the feedback, keep it coming.
Sooooo..... Should I add a lvl by lvl gear description, or no?
