USA was beaten by Lithuania in this afternoon's basketball game and sliding them to a 2-2 record in bracket B play. So much for the Dream Team.

First time the US basketball team lost twice. Lol. Finally something good happens.

Anyway, I lost faith in US basketball after the Miami Heat started sucking and all their good player got traded away.

OK, lets get this straght.

THE USA IS STILL THE BEST BEAKETBALL COUNTRY!

The players they sent to the Olympics are young guns who dont even have much NBA credit yet.

2 exceptions: AI and Tim DUncan

1/2 exeptions: MAbury and Marion

The roster craps who arnt even top 2 players on there NBA teams:
Boozer
JEfferson (Kidd and Martin)
Amare Stoudimire
Lamar Odom

Non NBA allstars who are best players ON VERY shitty teams:

LEBRON JAMES (overrated scum)
Bobcats First round draft pick: okafor

So bascally we took shit,we got 0 shooters, we got 1 Big man.

How do you expect us to win vs other countrys TOP players???
When we send our craps??

Lets see who we left behind:

SHAQ, KOBE, TMAC, B wallACE, Paul Pierce, JASON KIDD, KMART, Vince CArter, SteVE FRANCHISE!!!!

The list goes on for days.

So DONT hate on the USA, back in the day we sent our dream team. THe whole lineup is full of hall of famers.

This year we sent our back up, back up, back up Dream Team.

Which in my opinion is still competing, which shows how much better we really are.

LOL good point, I also forgot Ray Allen, Chris Webber, anotine Walker any many many many many more.

Just no one else as important As KG.

IF just KG said yes we'd still be undefeted.

That's because KG can shoot from almost anywhere and make it, especially those ones from the free throw line, why didn't we bring in all of our guys, because they didn't want to?

I completely agree that our team was WAY too young and inexperienced. Imagine if our starting lineup had the likes of Kobe, AI, Duncan, KG, and Shaq. No team on the planet could beat that.

3/4's of the orginal players asked to go decided not to go. They'd rather sit around at home then play and have the possibility of getting injured.

Yeah well, too bad we didn't have all of our good players, then we could've totally wasted the competetion, it wouldn't even be a challenge.

Basketball is becoming bigger internationally, a lot bigger than 10-15 years ago. You have guys like Peja and Dirk now who are MVP candidates and all-stars. Yao Ming and Pau Gasol are pretty damn good too. This year its more for the media attention than glory. In my papers anyway, it says Lebron leads team USA with 9 points every damn time and Duncan and Iverson are the one's literally carrying the load. The young players can go back to rookie camp and rot. They don't deserve it, especially the gold.
