800 by 600 resolution

Can you teleport farther using 800x600 res?

Can you gain exp while being farther away when you are using 800x600 res?

(In the patch modifications thing it shows you when you first install the 1.10 patch, it says that you can only gain exp when you are 2 "screens" away.)

Though I'm not 100% sure, I highly, highly doubt the resolution of the screen determines how far you teleport or how much exp. you get.

I believe EXP is calculated in in-game meters, not screens.

As far as teleporting, I think that one is simple

800x600 does not increase teleport range, it decreases the size of everything on the screen.

The 2 screen away thing follows with arrows, spells and mercs you leave behind to let them kill stuff. Being 2 screens means you are wuss

Exp is calculated by base exp, lvl you are, ppl in the game, status (champ unique etc.) being further screens away from enemy can allow you to attack them without a closeup confrontation

Didn't Blizzard say that they use SCREENS (800*600) to detect whether a character is close to Baal in his throneroom to spawn the next set of monsters? Eh?

I just tested the teleporting theory.

I took a wp to the cold plains, switched to 600x400, and teleported as far as I could in a diagonal direction. Then, I went back to the rogue encampment and then returned to the cold plains. Now I switched to 800x600, and teleported as far as I could in the same direction as the prior teleport.

The 800x600 teleport sent me farther.

Yeah because 640x480 with Perspective on is like playing Diablo 1 with 640x480 base setting, large enemies and you cannot see a thing at all.
