6,7 sockets?

Is there any way to add over 4 sockets to armor (such as corpsemourn or whatever) in any of the editors? I'm using "hero editor" right now, whichever one that is, but i can get others. I'm on LOD 1.10.
Is this possible?

And is there any way to give custom item names, beyond the preset unique names? i've seen it done before.

Try zonfire hero editor.
Its complicated looking at first, but its easy.
im not sure if you can add more then 4 sockets, but you can change the names. and btw pm me if you want link for zonfire

only way ive heard of is with a hex editor, but you really have to know what youre doing and i dont
