360 or ps3

Which one should I buy? I havn't played console games in about 8 months now figured I'd hop back into the scene but duno what has better games

They're the exact same thing, and play pretty much the exact same thing, except the Xbox 360 has kick-ass internet support, and the PS3 costs a lot.

Well I won't be using internet that much on it since it will be traveling with me around the world but I want some good multiplayer games...I'm dieing to play the new ufc game

I would say Ps3 because Sony is bitchin', but everyone is playing 360's, so go with that.

ps3 cause if your not going to know when exactly you'll have internet access no point in paying for a subscription that you wont use

ps3 has some great games too

and 360's aren't exactly reliable hardware so moving them around alot is a no no

+ Easy to Flash/mod
- Manufacturer defects

PS3:
+ plays Blu-ray movies
- expensive
- shitty online multiplayer
- Expensive
- Heavy
- No backwards compatablity
- Can't mod or flash

Other:
Multiplatform games look better on the 360 most of the time. Most games are on both platforms anyways.

This is the criteria I chose to make a purchase with. The 360 is clearly a better system. The PS3 is expensive, and pretty heavy to travel around with. They both play mostly the same games, and the games are either identical in quality, or the 360 looks better. The Ps3 was specifically designed to be incredibly hard to program for so you get A) Inferior games when porting from the 360, b) longer development cycles leading to less exclusive games, and c) Game's potential is stifled, and won't see anything really good looking for several years.

All things considered if you are asking this now having not really looked into this, clearly the 360 is a better choice. If you want to watch movies in slightly better resolution on really expensive TV sets, then by all means get a PS3.

i would get a ps3 m8 its way better for the long run and its got better exclusives. already advanced games are coming out for ps3 because killzone 2 on 360 is just impossible

It depends what you're looking for. If you're looking for online play, go with Xbox 360, if you're going for certain exclusives and really, really ridiculous graphics then I'd say PS3. However keep in mind that right now the only game that's really turning heads for PS3 is God of War III. Otherwise, even final fantasy 13, has become nonexclusive for Sony.
