nonono. after 10hours you lose the connection but not until you start movin which is why you enter a game. drop your items and idle for 10 hrs waiting for connection to be lost then join after 9-10 hours with a dif char and pick the items up and your other char rollsback.

i thought that you had to use that 1 anti-idle program, otherwise you get dropped after like 1 hour... i also thought that if blizz notices people in games for 10hours not doing anything, they ban or something?

yeah, what's this 10 hour dupe? can you be clear and specific on this?

so far it sounds like:
Drop your items on the ground in a private game
Anti-idle for 10 hours
Move (which gives you c/i ??)
Bring in char#2 to pick up the dropped items
char#1 rolls back and char#2 has the items also

is that it? why would moving after 10 hours give you c/i?

In the olden days of battle.net you had to send an action(clients should automatically do this) every so often to be considered there still, otherwise they stopped sending you information and your connection was terminated. I am guessing if this works it works something like that, and it doesn't decide to drop you from the game untill you move. However I have no idea.

the idea sounds like the idleing causes your character to loose connection, and rollback, but the game (with items on ground) stay open for pickup...

but theres one thing: doesnt the game auto save every so often, along with whenever certain things happen? (items dropped on ground, / picked up / wp activation / npc talk) wouldnt idling for 10 hrs save ur char sometime randomly after u drop items?

Maybe you have to drop the items AFTER the 10 hours so right after dropping you move and bam, rollback to a state previous to the item dropping

Your back sassing yourself there.. If your character loses "connection" after 10 hours how can the game save your character. And if u mean to say that the game saves it self before you lose connection, and when the items are dropped; well it does. Even though this happens you still get a roll-back because you were idle. There are certain "spots" in the game that you can stand in so that you are not dropped; one being in the market in A2. Also, if your experimenting with this try Zoids anti-idle. Dont make ur game public, cuz u dont want pubbies picking up ur shit.

Grateef, it looks like you know what you're talking about. Could you give further instructions? Like... when do you drop the items? Before or after the 10 hours?
Edit: And by market, do you mean where Fara, Cain and the guy with the potions are?

I think he means inside the inn, and I'm almost sure you'd have to drop your items after you lose connection. But.. if you use zoids anti-idle I know this doesn't work.. because.. I've permed a mule with zoid's anti-idle in a game for 10 hours+ and when I came back I could move around just fine... no c/i.. anyone willing to chill in a game for 10 hours to test this? I guess I will but idk if I'll make it 10 hours

you stay in game for 10 hours (bnet *should* loose track of your char, you should be kinda invisible to bnet servers)

a friend (if you have any) logs into your account and joins a game with same characters that was idling

drop items in game, a mule char joins and grabs stuff, your friend and the mule leave.

you move your char (that was idling) around, go talk to an npc or do some stuff and you should be rollbacked.

was posted some time ago, dunno if it still works

this is just a load of crap!!! you can't use anti idle program (anti idle)how do you idle when you use an anti idle..DOH!!! see where i am getting at..I don't play D2 anymore anyways, but i have played since the 1.07 patch all the way until i played for about a year on 1.10..And i'm pretty sure i know what i'm talking about.
It's kind of like the realm down count down dupe works like 1 out of 50 times!!

But good luck..But if you are smart enough you will figure out how to idle and use the blocked tp glitch and blam there you go..
But I will leave it up to you..This game is almost dead ,so i will give you those hints it worked for me almost 90% of the time if it is done correctly...But you really only need to idle for about 1 hour if you use the block tp glitch...That is if b-net hasn't found out about it by now..But like always probably have..

Oh and sorry if some of this is ran together or misspelled but i'm i a hurry..Good luck guys!!! SCREW D2 up as much as possible it is almost dead to the world anyways..

WOW is taking over almost all D2 players so just have fun and hack it to death..
