Ahh yes a classic question indeed.

I find Diablo2 more enjoyful now. But back in the day when Diablo1 just came out, that game was incredible. Playing that game alone just listening to the music and exploring the place would freak me out. Diablo2 has never freaked me out before, so Diablo1 wins with that. Everything else Diablo2 is a clear winner.

D1 sucked huge yes it was dark and scary but d2 is also and it has waaaaay better game play. skills are better everything is better in D2
