Patch 1.10 Info - Gaile [14:20ST]

Don't get all excited here, the headline is a trifle misleading, as there really isn't much in the way of "info" in the info. We're providing you what came to us via the Blizzard Insider Newsletter on the subject of the long-awaited patch for Diablo II:

We are working hard on a major patch for Diablo II that will change many aspects of the game. We are still ironing out what we can and cannot actually make happen - there are many changes - so speaking on specifics is not yet possible. Generally, however, we are adding new cheat-detection code, changing skills and how they interact with each other, adding new items, making some older items better, and even teaching some old monsters new tricks. We have focused these changes on the upper end of the game; however, in order to avoid disrupting the flow and balance of the early play, we don't expect to see any major impact until the Nightmare and Hell levels. This patch has been a long time in the making, and we are very excited to bring the Diablo community many of the things that they've been asking for.
Realm performance issues in recent days are not directly connected to the installation of Patch 1.10. In other words, don't hold your breath it'll arrive this weekend. Do read all about the skinny about the patch on our Patch Page. Thanks, Dhillon, for the reminder.

erm, that isn't right, judge. unless you mean the witchdoctor whatever fetish guy in act 3, when you're hunting for bits of khalim. when i hear fetish king (which doesn't exist) i think the ordinary fetish shamans, since you use it in conjunction with ordinary fetishes.

i was using it as a example not that it is necressily a creature in the game. ok fine heres a betta one sheenk and his minions how bout that

patch is gona realy suck if they dont make it with a whole new economy ...= a whole new meaning to tweaked chars. so basicaly no new eco = no use havein it.

we decided the economy of d2, and we survived when they fuked items in 0.9..

I think blizz is gonna fix this leave ith/occy ring and ****ing quit with d2 and work on ladder a bit, leave non-ladder for the hackers..

i doubt they will change bosses that much. unless your getting rushed some of those bosses in nm and hell are already challenging enough. Specially since i get bored and i dont feel like lvlin up to be able to beat some of the bosses. the only people that have ever gave me trouble is hell baal's minions. they are ****ing ass lickers!!!!
